Teachers' reviews - Banchory Academy at Burn o' Vat

I think Tuesday worked really well as the club members were out of the classroom setting and although the day was quite structured they all enjoyed what they were tasked to do. Taking time to talk about the certain wildlife they found and being able to climb over rocks and splash water made for good team building skills. I was really pleased with the interaction between the club members whilst they were doing the marshmallow towers game especially as I had split them from someone they would have chosen to work with. Even though the building of the tower was "going wrong" for all of the groups they all persevered and discussed a way forward. The club members also did really well when they had to answer the questions from the books Clare had produced. They all helped each other during the day and were able to interact in a different way than if they had been in school.
